Kramnik Channeling Topalov!

We all know that Kramnik and Topalov, 2 former world champions, have not had the best relation with each other in the past, largely stemming from the contraversy in their world championship match. However, what I've seen out of Kramnik recently is quite interesting- he has been playing very dynamic and exciting chess, and in particular he seems to have developed a penchant for the positional exchange sacrifice, something that one usually would attribute to Topalov. Some of these were simply ingenious, I'll present a few recent examples here:

Kramnik ended up down an exchange for various different compensations in 5 of his last 11 games, scoring a very respectable 3.5/5 in those positions. He has black against Adams tomorrow, with these odds it seems reasonably likely to see another! I certainly hope we do.
Best of luck to all,
Sam Shankland
